EASY KNIT

MAKR SHERPA PUFF

This is an oversize boxy jacket with a curved neckline and front opening; the body portions are wide, with a drop shoulder set-in sleeve. The armhole join is shaped like a tailored cut, so the stitches decrease, and then increase, so there is a slight curve in the sleeve apex, which creates more movement in the sleeves. The garment is made in the knit stitch, so the right side and the wrong side of the fabric look the same. This is why the left and right fronts are made identical, as one side can be turned over to mirror the other; and the necklines meet in the middle. This is fairly easy knitting with basic shaping techniques, so this is an accessible project for beginners and a breeze for the more advanced knitter. The pattern is graded in 4 childrens sizes, with the smallest size for 5-6 yrs, which the model is wearing. Made in our Sherpa Puff yarn it is a chunky, warm and durable garment perfect for the wild and wonderful in your life.
